To celebrate the 800th anniversary of Beauvais Cathedral, contemporary art blends with Gothic.
On the one hand, with a collective fresco-frise created by members of the HORS-CADRE Association. Secondly, with four large-format artists chosen for their singular universes. Clara Marciano and her drawings, sublimating academic techniques but with a very contemporary narrative, for a different vision of the Cathedral's environment (in progress). Jon Pitre's photographs of the roof, with its curious, pure geometrical forms, will take us to new heights. Nathalie Leclercq's eye is drawn to the stained-glass windows (in progress), and Frédéric Poisson to the building's vegetation with montage photos. He will be creating a vegetated wall in the gallery (opening hours) for the duration of the exhibition, which runs from April 25 to June 6, 2025.
Four artists, four visions.
Opening hours to the public.
