January to December 2025
1225.2025 This year, Beauvais commemorates 800 years since the launch of the most monumental architectural project in the history of the Beauvais region (and, in many respects, one of the most prodigious in medieval Christianity), that of the Cathedral of Saint-Pierre de Beauvais, whose history and architecture set it apart from all the other Gothic cathedrals built in the West from the 12th century onwards. Supported by the Ville de Beauvais and the Agglomération du Beauvaisis, 12 months of festivities will pay tribute to our "Parthenon of French architecture", as Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, the indisputable defender of medieval heritage, described it. This festive, cultural and artistic program includes lectures, concerts, exhibitions and shows in a wide variety of fields: the arts, science, literature and even sport! Ask for the program!
